MDESIGN Vertriebs GmbH takes on sales and customer communications within the group of companies. TEDATA GmbH and DriveConcepts GmbH guarantee the software development and the provision of the content. To this end, we enter into cooperative ventures and are a member of well-known associations. Always with the aim of preparing industry-specific and technological knowledge for our customers and making it usable in a digital form. Modern user interfaces and the provision of forward-looking platforms assure digital product development for our customers.



TEDATA GmbH is a leading global producer of digital information and calculation solutions and online component catalogues for product development. More than 30 employees at the Bochum and Donetsk sites are constantly working on adapting MDESIGN to meet the changing customer requirements. This includes further development of IT technologies (e.g. MDESIGN as a Cloud solution), continuous updating of technical standards and directives or the development of new calculation functionalities and innovative functions (3D modelling, artificial intelligence).

DriveConcepts GmbH

Founded in 2003, DriveConcepts GmbH from Dresden specialises in the development of software and services for drive technology. Through close collaboration with leading research institutions such as TU Dresden, DriveConcepts works on actively transferring the latest research findings into industrial practice. In recent years, this has resulted in unique MDESIGN calculation solutions for the efficient, standard-compliant design, checking and optimisation of gearboxes.


Verein Deutscher Ingenieure e.V. (VDI)

For 160 years, Verein Deutscher Ingenieure (VDI) has provided significant impetus for new technologies and technical solutions for improved quality of life, a better environment and improved well-being. With around 155.000 individual members, VDI is the biggest technical and scientific association in Germany. Together with TEDATA and VDI, we have systematically translated the theoretical principles of VDI guideline 2230 into the systematic calculation of single bolt connections which are subject to high stress in a modern and practical MDESIGN solution.

Beuth Verlag GmbH

Beuth Verlag has been a full-service provider of specialist knowledge for all major industries and occupational groups since 1924. As a subsidiary of DIN, it sells national and international standards and other technical regulations and develops specialist literature in all media presentations for employees in industry, science, retail, the service industry, academia and the handicraft trade. Together with Beuth Verlag, we have carried over selected standards in the field of mechanical and plant engineering into the MDESIGN solutions. In addition, we offer seminars on technical themes with the DIN academy at Beuth Verlag.


Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau e.V. (VDMA)

The Software and Digitalization Association represents successful software producers and the development departments of well-known mechanical engineering companies on the market. More than 390 members are represented in the association. The Software and Digitalization Association therefore has the know-how, which it can profitably bring in for all other VDMA associations. It aims to bring mechanical engineering together with software and digitalization. Thematic areas such as platform economy, machine learning, enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, manufacturing execution systems or product development are taken into consideration by the Software and Digitalization Association.

prostep ivip

The prostep ivip association is an internationally active association with its headquarters in the science city of Darmstadt and which has dedicated itself to the development of forward-looking solutions and standards for product data management and virtual product development. Here, it brings together the interests of manufacturers and suppliers in the manufacturing industry, as well as IT providers, in close collaboration with science and research in order to make long-term competitive advantages possible for its members through more efficient processes, methods and systems.
