Bolted joints - Selection, design & optimization
Despite continuous development in the design and manufacturing processes, costly breakdowns in mechanical engineering which can be traced back to damage to nuts and bolts continue to occur. Calculation of the preload force and the various resulting safety measures (e.g. against the yield strength being exceeded, against slipping and shearing or against fatigue fractures) is an essential measure for the prevention of damage. The VDI guideline 2230 has established itself nationally and internationally as the method for the selection of and proof of strength for bolt connections. Compliance with this guideline for components and machines is increasingly required not only by testing organisations, but also by customers and suppliers.
The seminar enables you to systematically design and calculate bolt connections which are subject to high stress in accordance with VDI guideline 2230 (11/2015).
In cooperation with the DIN Academy (Beuth Verlag), we are offering three new dates for the bolt seminar in November 2019:
- 14.11.2019 Nuremberg
- 19.11.2019 Hamburg
- 21.11.2019 Stuttgart
Target group: Engineers and specialists in the fields of development, design and calculation. Teachers from educational institutions or experts from research institutions and testing companies.
