With MDESIGN espresso, you can systematically calculate, design and verify highly stressed, pressurized components in accordance with the AD 2000 regulations or the EN 13445 standard.
Simplified pre-dimensioning with the integrated 3D configurator
The integrated 3D configurator makes it easier for you to design and select different components. Simulate your relevant boundary conditions and have your results such as deformation, stress or utilization clearly displayed. The models created can also be integrated into your CAD system in STEP format.

Extensive MDESIGN materials database with over 450 materials
MDESIGN's extensive material database provides standardized material characteristics (material number, tensile strength, yield strength, interfacial pressure, etc.) for over 450 materials.
This allows you to find the optimum material for your application, for example for selecting the screw material and the components to be screwed together. You can also enter your company's own material data and make it available to all employees involved in a standardized manner.
Optimize designs to save time and meet safety requirements
With MDESIGN espresso, you can dimension the pressurized components so that they can withstand the loads during their service life, optimally fulfil their function and meet the safety requirements of the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU). MDESIGN espresso determines results and verifications at the click of a mouse - even for different boundary conditions. The graphical representation of the results in clear 3D graphics helps you to evaluate your design quickly and reliably.
Transparency and traceability in the calculation documentation
Documentation and thus the traceability of product development is not only expected by testing facilities. MDESIGN creates all the documents required for calculation documentation with a click, including boundary conditions, notes, results and graphical evaluations. The documents can be provided with your company logo and data and are available in German and English as standard. On request, we can offer you additional language functions (e.g. French, Russian, Chinese).

Comprehensive and expandable database: The integrated database offers a large number of pre-installed shapes and profiles. In addition, custom flange geometries for pressure equipment can be integrated into the database of the "Pressure vessels", "Flanges" and "Flat bottoms, plates" calculation modules. - Materials & plant engineering
