The VDI (Association of German Engineers), Germany’s largest technical and scientific association with 155,000 members, has been providing groundbreaking impetus for technology, quality of life, and prosperity for 160 years. In collaboration with the MDESIGN group, we have transformed VDI Guideline 2230 for the calculation of bolted connections into a modern MDESIGN solution.

MDESIGN has been a member of the VQWS since 2023. The association has established a certification body that certifies technical staff and trainers in fastening technology, thereby ensuring the necessary transfer of up-to-date knowledge between the trainer and the trainees.
