Dresden Colloquium on Machine Elements

Machine elements & drive technology

The DMK 2026

Digitalization is fundamentally changing mechanical engineering, and you are actively shaping this change! Networked machine elements, integrated sensor technology, and intelligent evaluation now provide real-time data that you can use to optimize designs, improve maintenance strategies, and make production processes more efficient.

On May 5 and 6, 2026, experience how classic machine elements are evolving with modern sensor technology and artificial intelligence at the Dresden Machine Elements Colloquium. Researchers from TU Dresden and nine other universities will give you exclusive insights into current developments from a DFG priority program. Practical, future-oriented, and directly relevant to your daily design work.
