Screw connections:
For safe installation
in accordance with VDI 2230 Sheet 3

The online seminar on secure bolted assemblies in accordance with VDI 2230 Sheet 3 (draft)
provides practical examples of how bolted connections can be reliably designed,
assembled, and secured. The focus is on determining
load-bearing assembly instructions, monitoring the assembly process
and providing standard-compliant and traceable documentation
for permanently secure and reproducible screw connections.

This seminar is independent of the MDESIGN.
It is not necessary to install or use the software.

These topics await you...

Why VDI 2230 Sheet 3?

VDI 2230 Sheet 3 describes how assembly parameters for screw connections are systematically determined and evaluated. On this basis, clear, comprehensible assembly instructions can be created for safe, reproducible screw assembly.

Documented: Assembly sheet

Secure connections do not happen by chance.
A specifically secured installation, appropriate monitoring parameters, and complete documentation from design to implementation ensure a secure installation process.

Rotation angle method (sheet 3)

For the first time, a standardized procedure for determining the joining torque and further rotation angle is available. Learn how to use the rotation angle method safely and how to create assembly instructions.

Calculation of the attraction factor

In order to correctly determine the attraction factor, it is essential to consider the composition of the influencing factors and their weighting. In addition, the new calculation method for the attraction factor according to VDI 2230 Sheet 3 is presented.
