DMK 2026: Meet " MDESIGN " in Dresden
On May 5 and 6, 2026, the Dresden Machine Elements Colloquium (DMK 2026) will take place at the HYPERION Hotel Dresden am Schloss. This well-established professional event will once again bring together experts from academia and industry to discuss current developments in the fields of machine elements, drive technology, sensor technology, and artificial intelligence.
A key focus of DMK 2026 is the combination of traditional machine elements with modern sensor technology. These so-called sensor-integrated machine elements are the focus of several lecture series and are the subject of a large-scale priority program of the German Research Foundation (DFG), in which nine other universities in Germany are participating alongside TU Dresden.
In addition, the colloquium addresses forward-looking topics such as self-adaptive machine elements, data-driven methods, and the use of artificial intelligence in engineering. The diverse conference program includes over 40 technical presentations covering both research and industrial applications, offering participants numerous insights into the cross-industry and cross-disciplinary application of proven solutions and new technologies.
