IT employee SUPPORT (m/f/d)

For almost 40 years, we at TEDATA have been driving the development of leading calculation and information software for design and development departments. In doing so, we are actively shaping the future of mechanical and plant engineering as well as the automotive and supplier industry. Several thousand users are already using our digital MDESIGN products, which are based on classic client-server applications. But we are not just looking back, we are also looking forward. At a time when new solutions and web-based infrastructures are becoming increasingly important, we are expanding our software team. We are looking for innovative minds who would like to help shape the conception and design of new, web-based user interfaces and database structures.

• You are the cross-location contact person in first and second level IT support for our MDESIGN customers and interested parties
• Recording, classifying, processing and qualified forwarding of incoming support requests by telephone, e-mail or web session
• IT and network tests of our MDESIGN software on different operating systems and server constellations

• You have completed vocational training in the IT field or have a comparable qualification.
• Ideally, you have already gained some professional experience in IT support.
• Knowledge of terminal services and licensing is an advantage in this position.
• You have a pronounced solution and service orientation.
• We expect the ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and an open, communicative personality with a polite, engaging and confident manner.
• Very good written and spoken German; knowledge of English is desirable.
• A high level of commitment, initiative and flexibility are among your strengths.
• Knowledge of VMware and MS or Linux server systems is available.
• You can of course use Windows and Office programs.
